LANCHO ("LANCHO", "we", "our", or "us") provides food, grocery, daily essentials,
restaurant/shop partner, rider partner, order tracking, payment, support, and in-app
communication services through our website and mobile applications.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use
and share it, and the choices available to customers, delivery riders, shop/restaurant
partners, and other users of LANCHO services.
By using LANCHO, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use
our services.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use LANCHO, we may collect the following information:
- Account and profile information: name, phone number, email address, profile photo, login/OTP details, account role, and account preferences.
- Customer order information: cart items, order history, delivery address, delivery instructions, ratings, reviews, support requests, invoices, wallet, refund, and payment status.
- Rider partner information: rider profile, phone number, address, verification/KYC documents, vehicle or delivery details, bank or payout details, earnings, COD wallet, assigned orders, delivery status, and delivery distance history.
- Shop or restaurant partner information: shop name, owner/contact details, shop address, business documents, license details, menu/product details, product images, bank/payout details, order history, settlement, and withdrawal information.
- Location data: delivery addresses, selected map location, latitude/longitude, approximate location, precise location, rider live location, route/distance information, and location updates required for delivery tracking.
- Contacts: contact information from your device only when you grant contact permission and use a LANCHO feature that helps you find, identify, invite, or communicate with customers, delivery partners, or other relevant contacts in the app.
- Photos, camera, and uploaded files: product/menu photos, restaurant/shop photos, profile photos, delivery proof, support attachments, rider/shop verification documents, and images captured or selected with your permission.
- Microphone and audio: voice recordings or audio files that you choose to record and send in chat or support conversations.
- Messages and chat content: in-app chat messages, voice notes, attachments, timestamps, sender/receiver details, and support conversation history.
- Device and technical information: device model, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, device identifiers, push notification token/player ID, crash logs, diagnostics, cookies, local storage, and app usage activity.
- Payment and transaction information: order amount, payment method, transaction reference, refund status, wallet balance, payout/settlement records, and payment gateway response information. Card/UPI/banking details may be processed directly by payment gateway providers.
Background Location and Rider Tracking
LANCHO collects location data from rider partners to enable live order tracking, rider
assignment, delivery route management, and delivery status updates even when the app is
closed or not in use.
Background location is used only for delivery-related functionality, including showing
customers live delivery progress, helping shops/admin teams manage assigned deliveries,
calculating delivery distance, improving rider safety, and confirming delivery status.
Rider location is not used for advertising.
Before requesting background location permission, LANCHO may show an in-app disclosure
explaining why location is needed. Riders can deny or later revoke location permission
from device settings, but live delivery tracking and rider assignment features may not
work correctly without it.
Why We Use Permissions
- Location permission: to select delivery addresses, calculate delivery distance, assign riders, provide live order tracking, and support rider delivery operations.
- Background location permission: for rider partners so customers and LANCHO operations can receive real-time delivery status even when the rider app is closed or not in use.
- Contacts permission: to support app communication features, help users identify or connect with delivery partners/customers where relevant, and make chat or invite features easier to use.
- Camera permission: to let shop/restaurant partners capture product/menu photos, let riders or shops upload documents, and let users add photos for profile, proof, or support purposes.
- Photos/files permission: to select and upload product images, documents, attachments, profile images, and support files.
- Microphone permission: to record and send voice notes in chat or support conversations when you choose to use that feature.
- Notification permission/device token: to send OTPs, order status updates, rider assignment alerts, support updates, promotional offers where allowed, and important service messages.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
- Creating, verifying, and managing customer, rider, and shop/restaurant accounts.
- Processing orders, assigning riders, delivering items, updating delivery status, and providing live tracking.
- Enabling in-app chat, voice messages, customer support, complaint handling, and service communication.
- Helping shops/restaurant partners add and manage products, menus, photos, availability, settlements, and withdrawals.
- Managing rider earnings, COD records, delivery distance, payouts, and operational performance.
- Sending OTPs, push notifications, order alerts, service messages, and important account updates.
- Processing payments, refunds, wallet activity, invoices, settlements, and fraud prevention checks.
- Improving app performance, fixing bugs, measuring service quality, preventing abuse, and securing accounts.
- Complying with legal, tax, accounting, law enforcement, dispute resolution, and regulatory requirements.
We do not sell your personal information.
How We Share Information
We share information only when needed to provide LANCHO services, operate the platform,
comply with law, or protect users. This may include sharing with:
- Customers: relevant rider/shop details, order status, delivery updates, chat messages, and support information.
- Rider partners: customer name, phone number where required, delivery address, map location, order details, payment mode, and delivery instructions.
- Shop/restaurant partners: customer/order details needed to prepare and hand over the order, including order items, timing, and payment status.
- LANCHO admins and support teams: account, order, location, payment, chat, and support information required to manage operations and resolve issues.
- Service providers: hosting providers, cloud storage, payment gateways, SMS/OTP providers, push notification services such as OneSignal, analytics/diagnostics providers, map/location services, and customer support tools.
- Legal and safety authorities: courts, government bodies, law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the platform.
When service providers process data for us, they are expected to use it only for the
service they provide to LANCHO.
Third-Party Services
LANCHO may use third-party services for payments, OTP/SMS, push notifications, maps,
hosting, analytics, diagnostics, and support. These providers may process data under
their own privacy policies. Payment information entered directly into a payment gateway
is handled by that payment provider according to its terms and privacy policy.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
Our website and app may use cookies, sessions, and local storage to keep users logged in,
remember preferences, maintain cart/session information, prevent fraud, and understand
app performance. You can control cookies through browser settings, but some features may
not work correctly if cookies or storage are disabled.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information against
unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet or
mobile app transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain accounts, complete
orders, process payments and settlements, resolve disputes, meet legal/accounting/tax
requirements, prevent fraud, and operate support. Some records may be retained after account
deletion where required by law, legitimate business needs, dispute resolution, security, or
financial reporting.
Your Choices and Controls
- You can review or update account/profile details from the app where available.
- You can revoke location, contacts, camera, microphone, files/photos, and notification permissions from your device settings.
- You can stop promotional messages where an opt-out option is provided. Service messages related to orders, payments, security, or account activity may still be sent.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal, operational, security, and financial record requirements.

Children's Privacy
LANCHO services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services,
permissions, legal requirements, or business operations. The updated version will be posted
on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of LANCHO after an update means
